Travels
Well well well, lets recap:
Jeff, David, Sarah and myself worked the slc tattoo convention this past weekend. Good times as usual. Made a couple tattoos and saw some old friends, made some new ones.
On Sunday morning I decided the change my flight, go to New Mexico w Shawn barber to attend the paradise art retreat. Had a great time, attended some studies but mainly tweaked out all night and made art w Shawn barber and Damon Conklin.
High altitude, no humidity, whiskey....fun stuff.

England!!!
So my sweet wife was lucky enough to visit our friends in Philly last month while I was lucky enough to chill at the house for a week with my brood. Couldnt have had a better time...either of us. However, it is my turn now.
Stroked to fly to London tomorrow and spend a week working on ideas, visiting museums and mainly going to the Lotus Factory in Hethel. I was lucky enough to buy this
and well im a huge nerd so I want to visit the plant. Hoping to go back in the summer and take their driving school but I want to check it out first.
Anyways, I have an empty sketch book and a new .09 pencil, 7 days with nothing to do but geek out on cars and museum we never get to see in florida.
I should be updating with goodness!
check back.

Sfo tattoo convention
Well, I'm online at thirty thousand feet. I must say this is way nicer than watching what ever stupid set of movies they have playing. After hundreds of flights I can't recall ever watching a good movie...then again I'm a totally hater on the movie tip.
The bay area tattoo convention was great, I haven't worked it since it was in San Jose. I flew out Saturday morning as friday was my daughters birthday, the big eight!
I landed around noon and of course that airline lost my case of old gold pigment...it finally manifested magically around 2:30. So I set up what I had with my homies from Samuel oreillys in Santa Cruz, they let me share their booth space. Sold some pigment and talked smack for the rest of Saturday.
Then on Sunday, Grime finished my back piece we started five years ago. It's a giant dragon head and he did a brilliant job as usual...you'll have to take my word as I'm not interested in posting a finished pic and seeing it pop up on other peoples knee caps and forearms. Biters....so many freaking shameless biters.
Anyways, got tattooed on Sunday and then grabbed dinner in sf w Kundelll and Luke Stewart, Jeff croci, a few more good peeps. Then woke up at 5 am and back to the airport, flying home. It was a good trip, I wish I still lived closer. I do miss the west coast but I'm looking forward to getting back to Tampa and sitting still for a few weeks. Many a good gentleman found themselves stranded in sf due to the hurricane that decided to pounce the northeast coast...I pray your family's all weather the storm, literally. We've been there a lot...it's stressful for sure.
On another note, hoodies and microbookone is complete and for sale....I'll try to get everything online this week.
Thanks for following my babbles.

Getting Tattooed by Phil Holt at RedLetter1
So, if you are interested in getting tattooed by me email Sarah at:
redletter1waitinglist (at) gmail.com
Explain what you would like and where you want it.
Do not, do not, DO NOT!!!! Write me a book about your personal feelings or how this corresponds to your dead grand fathers blah blah...not to be rude but its impossible to keep up with everyones overflowing feelings (thank you kindly for that Miami Ink).
Rest assured that once the consultation process begins you will get a chance to unload your twisted mind and I will no doubt take the role of tv doctor and give you my oh so uneducated psychoanalytic perspective. Its gonna be a hoot.
If even after this you decide it's wise to write a small book...well I'm not going to read it so save your pretty little, quick typingfingers and dont.
I am especially interested in starting some cyber vein tattoos, figurative work and biomech...and dragons...kirins...and the like...so everything other than portraits and tribal...etc.
Also, be patient yet persistent and not annoying and everything will work out just fine. (insert emoticon smiley something here)
I do sincerely appreciate everyones desire to let me tattoo them...it is truly an honor so...Thank you.
